Three interviews at primary location and headquarters. Conversational interview. Discussed experience in depth. Occurred during covid and the process was lengthy due to hiring delays. Ultimately offered the job at desired location.

The interview process took 5 months. There was zero feedback after the 1st interview though multiple follow ups were sent, until 4 months later. During 2nd interview with same 3 interviewers, one of them said that the ‘higher up’ (pointed at the office next to us) didn’t like hiring ‘experienced’ sales people. She then laughed and said, ‘In fact, I love hiring young women fresh out of college.’ I’m in my middle years and my stomach sank. Sure enough, got the email today that they’ve ‘gone in a new direction.’
