Applied online. First had a phone screening with recruiter that lasted about 20 minutes. Then was asked to do an in person interview. Went in to the office and first had to complete an online assessment which had questions on the company (when it started, the name of the CEO, etc) and many time zone and state related questions and some math questions. They also have you watch a video where you get to hear real sales calls. The recruiter mentioned the average score of the assessment is somewhere in the 70s - can't remember the exact percentage. The assessment is done at a computer desk/station around other reps. Music was blaring and people were loud and goofing off with each other which made it a little difficult to hear the video and concentrate. After the assessment I met with the recruiter from the phone screening and had an in person interview. Simple interview, however I was told I wasn't mean enough for this job (except for that she used a word I can't post on Glassdoor). Not a ton of professionalism in this office - this is definitely a place for very easy-going people. The next step was an in person interview with the Group Sales Manager. When scheduling this, they also ask you to complete an assignment finding manufactures (see a full description in the interview question below). The manager asked if I completed this and I gave it to him, but we never discussed the assignment. I also had a chance to shadow two fairly new reps. Very normal interview questions and nothing out of the ordinary. They are very open about the negative reviews of the job. Work/life balance is not important to this office - they have you work late nights and Saturdays - all they care about is making money.

A typed list of 20 manufacturers, broken down as follows: 10 dry goods / 5 frozen goods / 5 refrigerated goods (You must indicate if the manufacturer is also the distributor; if they are not, please also list the company name, address, and phone number of the distributor).
A typed list of 6 transportation carriers that own at least 50 of their own trucks, broken down as follows: 2 that haul refrigerated goods / 2 that haul dry goods / 2 that have flatbed equipment (Provide the address and phone number for each carrier’s headquarters location).
If applicable, include any relevant documentation of sales ranking or performance.

Interviewer asked me extremely inappropriate questions, not job related, regarding family life and personal experiences. The people I saw who worked there did not seem happy. Worst interview ever, would never recommend.

Several rounds of interviews. Repeated communication from recruiter, but lack of devotion by actual manager at the site. They are very strict about dress code, even though they do not follow it themselves. It is daily contact from the recruitment, not only that they sent benefits , test, material, and study and material for the position itself. They even make you do job shadowing for two hours as well. This is all before you’re even given the final interview. I would not recommend this to anyone.

I was selected for a phone interview and, as part of the process, was asked to complete training materials to learn more about the role. During this stage, the structure of the position began to resemble a MLM style approach, which ultimately did not align with what I was looking for. I chose not to move forward and accepted a different opportunity.
The interviewer was pleasant, easy to speak with, and professional throughout the interaction. However, the overall impression of the work environment seemed heavily geared toward a younger audience, with a strong emphasis on social activities. It gave the impression of a culture that prioritizes a social atmosphere over professional development.
