I had a brief 15 minute interview. The manager said he wanted to see if we could have a good conversation, which we did. I was invited back for a follow-up before I left his office. The follow-up interview began at 9am and I was not back to my car until after 5:30pm. I rode around town going business to business with 2 sales ladies close to my age. It felt like Girl Scout cookie sales. They only get commission, no benefits, no name tags, no business cards or business emails (how do they prove they're legit??) I decided it wasn't for me, but these girls absolutely love their job and the bond between coworkers was clearly very strong and they are in constant communication via text with each other all day, congratulating each other on their sales of Quill office supplies. If you want to join a fun club which pays, I'd recommend this job.
