Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite un selezionatore. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Trane nel mese di gen 2022
Colloquio
The interview went as scheduled. The recruiter reached out to me. Brittney was very nice and was the first level of screening. Once we discussed the position and my background, we realized this wasn’t a good fit. She was straightforward but nice about saying it. She offered to look at other available positions within the company, but I’m not willing to relocate at this time.

Easy and professional. It’s carefully crafted questions to understand the employee. Everyone has been through it so they understand what the candidate is going through which makes it easier to relate.

My perception is that the company has been through a lot. Acquisitions, restructuring, tough markets. The work environment reflects some of the culture and office clash between generations and merging companies. It is a good thing since change is welcomed and ideas have a chance to blossom in this new chapter of the company history. Interviews are relaxed, but very professional, they include people from the hiring department and interacting departments in equal amounts. Oftentimes people from other divisions or geographic locations are invited. They follow the "Targeted Selection" format. So be prepared to present yourself in an unabashedly way and focus on your accomplishments and contributions in terms of innovation, quality (lean or 6Sigma), and know what your impact to past P&Ls has been.

Domanda 1
Any question copied from the "Targeted Selection" notebook. Like: "How would you manage different, large quantities of projects". They seem too easy to answer, so be prepared to take the most boring "by the book" questions and turn them into a chance to talk about what you bring.
