Was connected to the company through a LinkedIn posting. I did an initial screener with the recruiter and then was put into contact with the with the Plant Manager and Controller for the facility. From contact with the recruiter to the phone interview with actual management, it took roughly 2 weeks. They were undergoing some major infrastructure changes and were looking for someone to help lead them through that. The inventory consisted of mainly a walk through my job history, focusing particularly on change management projects. The management team came across very knowledgable and ask some good exploratory questions. They were great listeners but also very easy to talk to. A good conversational interview. I walked away from the interview with a good feeling, and there was interest on both sides to meet in person, but there was a hang up on salary. In the end, they felt they weren't going to be able to offer a compensation package that would convince me to leave my current employer.
