Colloquio
The process begins with a phone interview that likely served as a personality introduction to screen for interest, compatibility and general knowledge of the position being applied for. The first in-person meeting is an open house, where you'll be grouped with other applicants to speak with managers and the HR staff in an open meet & greet setting. After an open discussion you're taken aside to sit one on one with a manager and undergo a screening interview about what you're looking for, how you heard about the job, general overview etc. The 2nd stage, involved returning at a later date to take a 3 hour competency exam, where your grammar, math, and comprehension skills will be tested. A section involving quick exposure and application of insurance related concepts is also included. Lastly, a final interview is held whether you make the cut, where you'll sit with 2-3 managers privately (again at a later date) to discuss the specific expectations of your position and your experience in similar situations.

The interview process was very smooth. I had a call with someone from HR. Then, a few hours later, I received a call from a senior admin requesting an in-person interview. I was asked several questions during the in-person interview and replied using the STAR method. From there, I met/shadowed an employee for about 30 minutes and had a 30-minute interview with one of the directors. I received an offer two business days later.

I applied for Travelers and completed the assessment on 7/25/21. The assessment was actually quite tricky, especially because there wasn't a lot of time to complete each scenario.
On 8/30 I got an email to schedule a phone interview for 8/31. This interview was pretty much the company seeing if you would be a good fit by asking you simple questions about you and your background.
I then got contacted by someone else from Travelers via email on 9/3 for a second interview. This time with the claims manager whom I would be working with and their higher up. They asked me a lot of STAR based questions. So please make sure you put together real-life scenarios and put them in the STAR format. Be straight to the point but still give detail.
I took the second interview on 9/7. Literally the same day on 9/7 about 2 hours after my second interview, I got another email saying that they would like to move on with me for another 2 interviews. The peer & the final interview. I scheduled these interviews for 9/8 , 30 mins apart from each other . The peer interview wasn't even really an interview. I basically had a zoom call with someone who works at the same location as me and in the same position. It was a nice smooth conversation just me asking more in-depth questions about the position itself.
30 minutes later I had my last interview with someone from HR and somebody else who was in a high position. They asked me a lot of STAR-formated questions, but they were nice, outgoing, and very easy to talk to. They even asked me some questions that had nothing to do with the job which was nice lol.
On 9/14 I received a verbal contingent offer and completed my background check. On 9/23 my background check cleared and received a final offer welcoming me to Travelers!
**Overall it was a very lengthy interview process, but it moved very quickly, especially because I made sure I scheduled each interview pretty much back to back as soon as I could. Also, it helped that the interviewers were friendly. But out of all jobs I've applied and interviewed with, I would rate it as a difficult interview process because of the number of interviews and the amount of STAR-based questions you have to answer throughout the entire process.
And the interviews aren't short, they last for about 45 mins to an hour EACH. However , you can tell that they really care about who they hire, and want to make sure that your a good fit as well as them being a good fit for you. Good Luck !
