My friend forwarded me the Travelers recruiter email and we connected. She asked me to apply online and then started the interview process. One 20-min phone screen with the recruiter. First round was the interview with the hiring manager and second round were four separate interview sessions of 45 mins. One session with the hiring manger's boss, two sessions with the hiring manger's direct reports, one with the hiring manager's peer. The interviews were mostly behavior questions, not difficult at all. Only the one with the VP of data scientist had technical questions. Only one questions was hard as it was statistical and theoritical. Traverlers' hiring process was the best one I had. The recuitor was very responsive, good with communication, very pleasant to work with. She followed up with me every two or three days. The two rounds of interviews took place in two weeks. After a week, they started working on the offer. However, this process alone took more than two weeks due to PTO's.
