Applied online at their given Email address, myself Ph.D. looking for consulting positions. In two weeks received email asking to schedule phone interview. I replied back giving my availabilities instantly. The person who emailed (Ph.D. Senior associate) did not reply back to me for two weeks. I emailed twice and then after two weeks i hear back about a mutually agreeable date. The person apologized saying " I was very busy etc." On the agreed upon date and time, i did not receive a phone call. Waited for 25 mins over scheduled time. Called the person on the phone number(Office) given in their signature- No Response. Then 30 mins later called on their cell phone, they picked up and sounded disoriented (even sleepy), again apologies followed. Dont know even if they had my resume in front of them. I said fine, we began our interview. The interviewer was very rude throughout, the case was simple: Estimate Market for school furniture. The interviewer kept interrupting with comments like: Not correct, is that what you will tell clients. Fit part was why consulting, didnt let me explain my complete speech , interrupted by saying if you like what you are doing right now, why not continue. The interviewer kept down the phone without saying anything about next steps. After 3 weeks got generic email from Office Manager saying, i will not be good fit. Overall, very negative experience. From my experience they seem very disorganized and all over the place.

Very standard for consulting; 2 rounds, 2 interviews in each round (half case half behavioral). First round is with managers, 2nd round is with more senior team (e.g., partners) Behaviorals emphasize why T&Co (small firm so culture is important)
