Interviewed for a Personal Assistant position with one of Truex Metier’s clients. In my interview I was asked if I am married, what my age is, if I have children and what my children’s ages are. I instantly felt discriminated against for my answers, and felt like the client was focusing on my own life vs my actual qualifications for the job.

If I was married, had children and if so what their ages were.
Unfortunately, not all private family members have been taught the dos and don'ts of interviewing. We try to explain them before all interviews, but sometime they don't listen.
In your case, a candidate with more relivent experience was selected. Thanks for bringing this to our attention, your comments are very helpful.

Very straightforward experience. Very professional and surprised me by how they personalized my interview to match me to other opportunities. I was very pleased with the experience and even though it wasn't particularly lengthy, I think they captured what I was looking for. I also left feeling good about the outcome of being matched with more than one job opporutnity.
