I applied directly and received invitation for an introductory call from a Talent Acquisition Manager from Singapore. The interview started as usual with self introduction. The TA seemed disengaged and disinterested, often cutting off my introduction. And trying to ask banal questions that are all answered in my CV. TA used all the right polite words but the actions, reactions and timing felt dismissive. I have decades of world class experience and training. And the interviewer kept asking basic questions while shutting down my deeper expert answers. Moreover in the second half the TA started asking technical questions and process walkthrough. But it was clear the TA didn't know how to assess the answers or didn't had enough understanding of the questions asked. Felt like a checklist. TA told that I will hear about the result by the end of the week. A few months past but I haven't heard anything.
