I received an email from the recruiter who was very responsive at first, then had the initial phone screen which led to a video call with a media strategist in NY (a week after the initial phone screen). Our conversation went well, but the questions asked were super generic - you can tell that not much thoughts were put into it. Then I was sent an assignment which I had spent 3-4 full days working on.
Then, 10 days later, I was invited to do a technical video screen, the analyst was very knowledgable and outgoing. I had fun solving the SQL challenges, though stumbled on the last question. Another 10 days later, I was invited to do a video presentation to 4 people at the organization. Had spent a whole week in total preparing for the presentation, I was asked some interesting questions by the director from London, it was a pleasant experience.
I followed up with the recruiter twice (much less responsive towards the end), as I saw that the position was reposted on different job boards again. 2 weeks later, I got a 2 line vague rejection email. Having spent a good 6.5 weeks interviewing with the organization, I had politely asked for a feedback and did not receive any response.
Overall, I would say that this was a poor investment of time on my end. I had accepted another offer by then, and it seems like this company is in no rush to find an analyst to fill this position as it is holiday season. Unless you are really interested in the company and position, this is a pass.
