One of the most baffling and disrespectful experiences I have ever seen. The Hiring Manager (an executive) reached out to me (given my profile match) for a very unique role. Then the HR guy followed-up with details on title/level and charter/scope (somewhat understandably still evolving then), setup interviews with key folks over next 1.5 months (which I patiently went through), intermittently asking for clarity on scope and team that I would own/build for which their responses were different each time. Finally they came back and said everyone liked me and want to bring me in. OK good. Now what is the scope and charter/team I own? It turns out to be a completely watered down version of what I heard two months before. Rejected them then and there. Felt no respect and regard for transparency and building trust.
