Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite un selezionatore. La procedura ha richiesto 4 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Two Sigma (New York, NY) nel mese di ago 2017
Colloquio
I got in touch with a recruiter who had previously contacted me last year. I was then sent a 3 hr coding challenge which I completed. I then had an hour-long phone interview. Then, about a week passed, after which I inquired about the status of my application. I was told I passed and fast-tracked to an onsite due to pending offer deadlines. I had the onsite the week after in New York. The hotel was very nice and when I checked in they gave me a bag with an umbrella, waterbottle, starbucks gift card, and a few other miscellany.
The onsite had 6 interviews: two grueling technical interviews in the morning, a lunch with recent hires and other interviewees, and then 4 interviews afterwards. I received a phone call the day after where the recruiter said that things were looking good and received the official offer about a week later.

Standard medium difficulty hackerrank. The question involved decoded an encoded string. It was not something I had seen on LeetCode before and I think was unique to the company. The question was not that difficult but I ran out of time right before I could finish answering.

Domanda 1
Decode a string encoded using a specific encoding algorithm.
