Was approached by VP at USBank in March and was told that they would like to hire me. Advised that this would be a very quick process and started to meet with other executives. In total,
I met with 8 people and every interview went perfect. my references were called, I went through all of the salary and stock negotiating with HR. I received a call on my cell phone from the VP in one evening in late April, stating I would be receiving an offer later that week or early next. They never called with an offer and after following up SEVERAL times, I was informed in mid July that the position was put on hold, which I don't believe for a minute. During the process, they made me supply them with paycheck proof of what I was currently making and then they never ended up offering me the job. This was a horrible experience and I feel that I was lied to and this experience has left a very negative impression of US Bank.

11 interviews!!! Yes, 11 over a course of 2 months. Was informed that final candidate will make it to C-Suite then enter offer negotiations. I interviewed with C-Suite back in early April and it's been complete silence ever since. The interview with C-Suite went VERY well. I followed up on multiple occasions no reply. Mind you when I was going through my 11 interviews I was getting raving remarks and feedback. Oh I forgot to mention US Bank reached out to me via LinkedIn. I didn't apply. I would think after 11 interviews the recruiter would have the professionalism and decency to follow-up.

Recruiter call was pretty straight forward, they asked about previous product experience. Recruiter explained role and was able to answer most questions - highlighted role was listed as remote but they wanted someone to go into the office for occasional meetings if they lived near office.

Started with recruiter call then moved on to interview with the hiring manager. Quick turn around between the 2 interviews. Typical interview questions and expectations. Reviewed salary requirements, job duties, and team expectations. Received an offer with a lowball salary for a Senior position. Tried to negotiate based on experience/skills, location, and average salaries posted on Glassdoor but the hiring manager refused to negotiate. Ended up declining the offer, I received 2 offers from other reputable companies with the same job title, duties, and bonus structure with salaries at least $20k more than US Bank.
