I was offered an interview and when I went in, I was brought into a group interview of 3 people and another 4 on a conference call. Here's the issue, they didn't ask any questions. They waited for me to ask most of the questions and I spent about 1/2 hour asking various questions about the position. I was then interviewed by the department head who told me that they had interviewed 15 or 16 people already and the team was probably just burnt out on them. I was then told that this would be the team i'd be supervising and they'd be making the decision for the boss. After 3 hours of interviews, they finally let me go home and I was basically sure I wouldn't be getting an offer. I still haven't heard, but it's quite unlikely.

It included initial screening, technical and behavioural interviews, a case study/project presentation, and final interviews with senior management. In other cases as well some candidates may also undergo skills assessments and panel interviews.

I had three separate interviews with a Director (who would have been my supervisor) and two senior directors. The interviews were somewhat informal with the individuals who were trying to determine if I was a fit for their team.
