I had applied on the UCSD career site. The process can be a lengthy one depending on the position I think because I’ve seen status changes vary from the various positions I’ve applied to. This one in particular was about a two month wait. I applied and then my status changed to “Referred to hiring department” and then I received an email from HR for an interview. The interview itself was through a Zoom call with two individuals from the department. The questions were the bullet points listed in the job descriptions but rephrased as questions. After the interview, I withdrew from consideration because the interviewers didn’t give off a great vibe and seemed miserable in their roles.
