I applied for this position back in December 2023 and actually forgot that I applied. In early March I was contacted by a recruiter and was offered an interview. I initially declined due to scheduling conflicts, however they were more then happy to work with me, and said they would be in touch during the next round of interviews. Not even a week later I was called to schedule an interview for that same week. Went in and met with 3 supervisors/recruiters. They were very friendly and straight foward. They explained the position, which was a PRN position, but then asked me if I were interested in a Full Time Position at the main hospital, to which I said yes.
I am horrible at interviews and was extremely nervous, but they were very friendly and made me feel at ease. After answering some general customer service related questions and explaining my work history more in depth, the interview concluded. I was told to look out for a reference check and proceed through.
Same day I received my refernce link, submitted 5 work related references and waited to hear back. Within 48 hours I was offered a full time position, and told I needed to pass a background check (which included more reference verifications), drug test and health screening.
I submitted everything, scheduled my drug test and health screening and moved through the process. About a week later I was notified that I was cleared to start work.
All in all, the process took about 2 1/2 weeks to accomplish from offer to clearance.
