My first interview was a casual sit down interview with the CEO and hiring coordinator. Before the interview started I had a 12 minute assessment (reading comp & math) to complete. The interview questions were a mix between interview, personal, and past experience questions. Very conversational. It lasted for about an hour and although it was long it was very relaxed. The second interview, I was asked to do a 10-15 minute presentation of my choice (powerpoint, prezi, etc.), on one of their softwares. Following the presentation I was asked questions regarding what I just presented. Even though I had limited knowledge of the software and construction terms, I believe they were gauging my ability to perform more-so than what I knew. Anyone in "frontlines" will have this process: phone interview, in-person aptitude test, and interview with President & his favorite worker at the time, then a product presentation. President likes to ask seemingly random questions to see if you can think on your feet and "sell yourself." If they don't like you, you'll never hear back from them. Even if they do like you, it may take a few weeks to hear from them due to the disorganization.
