I understand that they have to be careful, but they are just looking for top producers that they can work to death to make their expenses each month, and not pay them for their efforts

It was a very difficult interview. And they promise you the world, but don't believe them. They will work you to death, promise you will be compensated, but you won't get it.
Nice interviewers. They ask questions relevant to your ability to work with metrics and under constant evaluation in order to support your success. They wanted to know if you are going to be committed to their process in order to succeed with their business model.
