You must take the Postal Exam and make a very high grade on it. I made an 87, and I had 10 veterans preference points, which made me the first person on the postmaster's hiring list. She asked me standard behavioral interview questions, and questions about driving record.

Not really an interview. If you pass the background check you have the job. The United States Postal Service does not require a traditional interview. Very easy. I love it here.

There was no interview. I pretty much just took a test and they sent me back a conditional offer. When I got to my orientation with 3 other people they all had the same experience.
