First needed to complete and pass postal exam. Several applicants, in our case eight, were gathered in conference room where postal director explained details of the position and answered questions from applicants. Very efficient and informative. Each applicant then met with postal director for individual review. Basic questions as with any interview: why do you want this position?, do you feel comfortable with the responsibilities of the position?, etc...

Interviewer primarily questioned about willingness to work in outdoor conditions (cold, heat, etc...) and physical ability to handle responsibilities of the job. Emphasis on ability to work weekends and commitment to complete daily tasks. Interviewer keen on ability to work with diverse personalities and whether or not one would report fellow employee breaking USPS policies. Emphasis on reliability and commitment to work even if one was sick with flu, etc...

no formal in person interview. Once application was complete they send you a few tasks to be done by a certain time,once that is done they schedule orientation. You have to pass a federal background check,and must have a drivers license.

The interview is all online, extremely easy and quick. Select from multiple choice and you are then offered a job with forms to fill out and fingerprinting. Then you are called and bring 2 forms of Identification with you

Easy. Just pass the assessment then you have the job. Sometimes it may be a slow hiring process but long as you can pass a background check, you’re fine. Good luck
