I initially applied for the Rural Carrier position in September and I took the exam 3 days later. After I received my score, I got a email 2 weeks later inviting me to interview with the supervisor. The interview process took about 2 hours but was simple, as technically applicants weren't interviewed individually. The group interview just consist of the supervisor giving details about the position. Two days after the group interview, I received an email to take the drug test. About a couple days later, I received an acceptance letter (conditional employment offer) for the position...I accepted. Now apparently, I'm waiting on the background investigation to be completed. Once that is completed, I should be receiving a date for orientation. I was told the background check can take up to 3 weeks.

No interview. Received an email with a job offer and orientation was scheduled a few weeks later. Called the postmaster on the job listing to get more information in between the offer and orientation.
