First round is a HW assignment candidates are given a week to complete. Prompt was to go through the entire product cycle for an existing or new feature. They recommend that candidates spend ~6 hours on the proposal but chances are, you'll take much longer. I personally took 2-3 days to draft a ~10 page proposal. Best to be concise and don't go overboard with content. Phone interview was fairly straightforward. You're given a 45 min product design interview and another 45 min analytical interview back to back. I didn't make it past this round but prepare for questions specifically related to Uber's product/business. I had one really nice interviewer and another that seemed like he didn't want to be there. At least one had gone through the APM program.
