The interview process for an Account Manager role at Uber typically includes a recruiter screening, hiring manager interview, behavioral and sales-focused rounds, case study/presentation, and final leadership interviews over 2–6 weeks.
This was the slowest interview process which lasted almost 3 months. The HR's turn around time is extremely slow and will leave you sending multiple follow up emails with no response. First there was a written/analytical round, then HR screening, then Hiring manager round, then Presentation round. I made it to my presentation round and was given 1 week time to prepare. This was a major waste of time because no matter how well you present, or how much time you spend on it, it will never be good enough. In this presentation they expect you to know things which you can only learn on the job. They will act like very angry customers during the role play and no matter what solution you come up with, the justification for high service fee will never be good enough no matter what logic you present them with. Even if you try to lower the service fee, they will not be convinced on the projected estimated ROI. It just felt like they are looking for ideas through these interviews and you get zero points for effort so keep the presentation as simple as you can. Overall, it was exhausting process and will probably never apply in Uber again. And yes, they care whether or not you know their values even if they don't seem to follow it, so learn the values
