Phone interview with a recruiter, second interview in person. I was asked to travel to the corporate office during a pandemic- that should have been my first red flag. Even when I asked about an online option, they insisted it take place in person. Being desperate for an internship, I paid for gas and hotel out of my own pocket, skipped class, and drove 5 hours to their corporate office. Received a basic rejection email after all of that.
Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite l'università. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Uline (East Lansing, MI) nel mese di feb 2026
Colloquio
A virtual interview with general get to know you questions. Mostly your past experience, typical behavioral questions, your future availability, and willingness to relocate. Interviewer was nice, but very fast when speaking.
Domande di colloquio [1]
Domanda 1
What languages do you have experience in? Elaborate.
They asked simple behavioral questions about teamwork, leadership, and things along those lines. They also asked about strengths and weaknesses and a few questions about past work experience. It was overall an average interview.
Strange interview process? Recruiters are extremely unprofessional and called over 20 minutes after arranged time. She didn't answer any of my questions properly and spent more time talking about herself than about the role. Pay is also unreasonably low.
