I have been applying for positions at Unilever for quite some time and recently had the chance to interview. The initial interview was scheduled with a recruiter who contacted me at the scheduled time. The conversation began with typical questions regarding my resume, to determine if my experience aligned with the role. Around twenty minutes into the interview, the recruiter suddenly stopped and mentioned that she had apparently been interviewing me for the wrong position. She suggested starting over and proceeded to ask me questions related to the correct role for the remaining 10 minutes. Unfortunately, I felt rushed and there wasn't enough time to delve into the details of my experience. It seemed as though the recruiter was uninterested and had already made up her mind. The entire interview experience felt unfair, especially since I had been eagerly anticipating this opportunity. As expected, I never received a call back. This was the first time in my life that I did not pass the first round of an interview.
