I had a phone interview that felt quite old-school. I was contacted right on time, but instead of the scheduled interviewer, Kayleen, an older man named "Kenes" interviewed without disclosing his job title. There was also a woman on the line who didn't speak at all. The interview lasted only 15 minutes, during which I was asked a few housekeeping questions and then STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Result) questions. Typically, after an initial phone screen, you have an idea if you're moving forward in the process, but in this case, I was told they would be interviewing through the next day and would let me know either way. However, I wasn't informed about the next steps in the process.
