quick interview and was hired on the spot in 1989. after 911 took the voluntary furlough and was called back 3 years later but already had another job in another city and never went back. very stressful daily routine trying to get aircraft out on time but I enjoyed that at times. union never really helped me as I was a good employee and never needed their assistance. only the screw ups need the unions assistance, usually. good pay, possibly due to the union, but plenty of concessions usually due to the union.
