The whole interview process is totally using mandarin. They expect you to understand their company, their background, and semiconductor manufacturing process. Overall, you need to speak a good mandarin as the workers there are mainly from China mainland and Taiwan.

There was an initial HR screening call followed by 1:1 interview with the hiring manager done online. Before the interview, there was a form to be filled up for the application and submission of documents. Half the 1:1 interview was also in Chinese to understand proficiency due to communication with the team mainly in Chinese. Interviewer's camera was not on and updates from HR only came when prompted for updates
