Hiring process started with submitting the resume to an online HR portal. Multiple interviews followed with current team members, the manager of the role I was applying for and the leader of the team. Three rounds of interviews in total across a few weeks. Learned of the application nearly one month after I started the process.

The most difficult interview question I recieved was how many windows are there on the Foshay Tower. The difficulty was not in coming up with an answer but in how the interviewer kept pushing on every assumption I made in building up to my answer. The interaction was designed to learn how I think about an ambiguous problem and how I dealt with lack of information and assumptions to come to an answer.

It was all virtual interviews for a remote role. In total, 3 separate interviews to meet with various levels (hr, hiring manager, panel with equivalent level employees). Questions felt more about personality fit versus resume/skills; which in retrospect is telling.

Four interviews spread out over three days. Very organized; behavioral -type questions. I had plenty of time to ask questions at the end of each interview. Everyone was on time for the interviews, they listened to my responses and asked follow-up questions.
