I had a preliminary interview with HR, followed by a take-home technical exam, an in-person technical interview (technical questions and review of exam) with a future peer and future team leader, and then a video call with upper management.

I was a fan of the take-home technical exam! It really provides the evaluators with good insight on your thought process and skills, exposes you to the kinds of tasks you'll be doing on the job, and it makes for a great conversation during the follow-up interview.

I applied online and was contacted by a recruiter within two days. The entire process took about 4 weeks and included 5 rounds. It began with an initial screening call, then an interview with the hiring manager. The final stage consisted of three interviews with a software engineer, a product manager and a staff data scientist. The last three interviews could be scheduled either all on the same day or spread out over multiple days.
The recruiter was consistently responsive and proactive. She not only kept me updated on the status of my application but also shared clear instructions and preparation tips for each round. It made the entire process feel smooth and less stressful.

1x 45-minutes interview, take-home exercise, 2x 45-minutes interview. During the interview subsequent to the the take-home exercise, we discussed improvement or alternative ways to do the take-home assignment. The questions were really good and promoted having a great technical discussion.
