Got contacted by a recruitment agency who booked an initial Teams call.
I had the call with the interviewer, but there was an immediate disconnect between us both I didn't like him and could tell he didn't like me and the way he interviewed was weird and had res signs.
He questioned me on my job title, as I put my actual job title in my CV and next to it in brackets put down what I find myself as, he asked me what's the difference and was really odd about it (although even companies like Meraki etc find this good/acceptable). The job title I had primarily given myself is not misleading in any way and I did include the contracted job title next to it but he was just being difficult.
He asked what I knew about the company, I gave an answer to which length he wasn't happy with (although I gave the same equivalent answer, in terms of length to other companies that were happy) but this guy seemed to be more pro theory then a normal person.
He asked about my role/exp etc following by a technical question. During this I had seen an offer letter by a different employer go into my inbox so I hung this call up, it was clearly not an employer I'd ever want to join, and feel there was no Interest from either side.
I will defnitually not work for an employer like this.
