I applied online via LinkedIn for a different job, and their HR responded recommending that I interview for an entirely different job in their Capital Markets team. I agreed, and scheduled to speak with their Capital Markets team the following week. They never called, then followed up with an apology after I reached out to them and they offered to re-schedule, then they never responded to my emails to reschedule. Complete radio silence and they ignored my emails/phone call, making a very unprofessional and disorganized process on their end. Based on my negative experience in addition to others on here, Upstart needs better time management and responsiveness - I would not want to work for a firm that has a total lack of respect for their candidates' time and neglects their correspondence.
