Interview was professionally conducted, hiring manager showed up on time, exchanged pleasantries. Talked about experience relevant to the role, etc. Asked basic questions about loss reserves accounting, modeling. Was keen to move me along except the role was put on hold until the new year, pending budget approval. Disclosure that came 2 minutes before the end. Felt like recruiter and hiring manager strung me along for a phantom job. Unprofessional.
