I am really disappointed by the harassment that I had to go through during the interview process with Upstox since the past 3 months. My first round happened over a 1.5-hour call with a tech lead in which I was able to answer almost all of the questions that were asked. After that, I tried to reach the HR for a month for feedback but all my emails and calls were left unanswered. After nearly a month the HR finally picked up my call and said the feedback was good and scheduled the 2nd round with another Tech Lead. The second telephonic round was also equally good and lasted for around an hour. Again post that I tried reaching the HR for a month for feedback. After around 5 weeks of the 2nd telephonic round, the HR called and said the 2nd feedback was also good and they would like to schedule a f2f round and scheduled it. 1 day before the scheduled f2f meeting, the HR again called and canceled the f2f and asked insted to solve a technical design scenario question and submit by 2 days. After solving the scenario and mailing upstox HR the solution. They replied within 2 days that they had rejected me. I wrote a mail to the HR asking for a reason for rejecting me and having a discussion on how my solution is wrong. The mail went unanswered. I would request all of you to get clarity for the need to do any written assignments given by the HR. It simply wasted my time and effort.
