Probably the most frustrating interview process that I have ever had. The entire company seems to be managed by very inexperienced people. During the process, I would get a response or email from the hiring manager once maybe a week. It took 3 months for them to tell me I didn't get the job. 3 MONTHS of interviewing for a manager position. The head of video is experienced in the DC documentary scene and has no knowledge of what real video production is.. like in LA and NYC. She sounds like it was her first day LOL. A little bit of advice - RUN. RUN. RUN. far away from this click bait shop. Advice to management - get more experienced workers for your video team and teach your employees how to interview properly instead of wasting time.

Interview was relatively informal, the questions weren't anything out of the ordinary. However the process following the interview was both frustrating and relatively unprofessional. During the interview I was told that they were trying to fill the position that week. Following the interview I was asked to submit a "Take Home Test" with a 48 hr turn around time, which took roughly 8 hours to thoroughly complete. After submitting the test, there was absolutely no communication for a solid two weeks even after numerous attempts to reach out. After about three weeks of silence, I was informed that the position I initially applied for had been changed completely. So essentially, I spent a full workday completing a take home test (with no compensation) for a position that they later decided to no longer fill. I honestly think if I didn't continue to reach out about the position, that they wouldn't have notified me of the change. The most frustrating part was not receiving any feedback regarding the Take Home Test. Overall, it was an extremely disorganized and frustrating experience that ended in nothing. They seem like a great company, but be weary of their hiring practices and don't hold your breath because you'll probably be waiting for at least a month to hear something back.
