      Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 2 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Urbandoor (Vancouver, BC) nel mese di ott 2018

      Colloquio

      The interview begins with an introductory round with their staffing partner first. The next round is with someone from the company. It's a mixed round having you to answer professional and technical questions along with analysis of your communication skills. The next two rounds are with the technical lead and the team. These are fully technical and there might be some non technical questions. The last round I believe is with the manager or someone from the executives. The representative from the staffing partner is well mannered and very helpful to get you to the next round. They describe the working environment with the best of their intentions and offer you a competitive salary, which will surely make you like them and work with them. However, the person who takes the next round will destroy all the good work done by the previous person and leave a very bad taste in your mouth, to the best of his abilities. To me he was biased and arrogant. He made the best use of his power to reject me without a genuine reason. Actually, that all depends upon his mood. He may ask you something very basic that you can answer (even a high school grad can) then will reject you by saying that you need better skills. That too when you keep on sending follow up emails to know the decision. Moreover, when you look at their own application, you can easily know about the level of skills of these so called experts, who reject other skilled people. I think the owners/investors need to take a note of this. Well, the careers page of the company states that the company does not discriminate but when such things happen, it's discrimination but a silent one. To me it seems like a very sketchy place that I'll ever apply again to.
