      Colloquio

      Initially, the interview process followed a standard pattern, commencing with a meeting with the HR representative and subsequently with the hiring manager. Having successfully navigated both interviews, I was then invited to attend in-person meetings with various department heads and subordinates. Despite the challenge and expense of traveling to a different part of the country for these interviews, I was promised adequate reimbursement. The in-person interview day itself went well, providing me with the opportunity to meet colleagues and engage with teammates, which I found to be a positive experience. Several days later, the HR representative I had been in contact with throughout the process informed me over the phone that I had successfully passed the interviews and would be offered a contract. I promptly received a draft copy of the contract for review and submitted some questions on the same day. However, I didn't receive any response for two weeks, and attempts to contact the HR representative proved futile. Upon calling the landline, I was informed that the person I had been in touch with was no longer with the company and that someone else would get back to me, but that never happened. As of now, there has been no further communication from the company, and even if they were to get in touch, I have lost confidence in signing a contract with them. While I understand that circumstances can change, I would have appreciated someone taking responsibility and communicating the situation to me via a phone call rather than ignoring the situation entirely. P.S. Regrettably, I did not receive any compensation for the expenses incurred during the interview process.
