      Colloquio per Marketing

      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto una settimana. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Utrip (Seattle, WA)

      Colloquio

I interviewed for a newly created position. The interviewer was 10 minutes late to the initial phone screening. During the phone screening, after answering the common "why are you leaving your current position" question, with a well-scripted and clear answer, I was met with quite the condescending response from the hiring manager, who bluntly insinuated that I was leaving my current position too early. I was invited to an in-person interview and interviewed 1:1 with 3 teams. I was asked by the hiring manager to provide work samples that were not relevant to the position I was interviewing for, and was prepared to discuss a list of 4 topics they had given me. All 3 teams I interviewed with seemed like they didn't understand the position's roles and responsibilities. I was asked very specific questions pertaining to a company project that was not mentioned to me during the phone screening, mentioned on the website nor included in the job posting. At this point, it was clear to me that the entire process lacked proper organization and all in all, I had received vague answers from the hiring manager and interviewers in an attempt to best understand their business. For fun, I asked each of the interviewers who they thought the position would work closest with, and prodded a bit more at the role's responsibilities. I came up with different answers from everyone. From two teams, I was asked very specific questions about their company business goals. The third interviewer asked me to sketch out a detailed plan for an email marketing campaign, including off-the-top blog title ideas for their business. I did not follow up after the interview, as I was no longer interested in joining the team. I would encourage UTrip in the future to work collaboratively to ensure everyone on the hiring team had read the job posting and understands the expectations that have been set with the candidate.

      Domanda 1

Can you share specific examples of content titles that you would include in an email marketing newsletter, why you'd include it, and where you would find it?
