Aggressive luring of teachers should raise some red flags. Telemarketing type calls and recordings add to the drama. Unreasonable teacher fees for computer failures beyond your control to the tune of $10.00 per booked class is not O.K. with me. The pay is not “quite" the advertised $22.00 per hour, but $8.00 per 25-30 minute class. They do not pay you for your 15-20 minute class preparation, nor do they pay you for the 15 minute evaluation of student progress after the class finishes. They do not pay you for the training you do under the guise of the interview process. I quit the “application process” after I read the fine print on teacher fees. Teachers…take your love of children and teaching talent to a company that values it’s employees. This fortune cookie says: Beware..many fees, low pay, waste of time=sketchy business.
