Initially we had written test,the test was technical+aptitude.
They shortlisted about 5% of the applicants.i was also shortlisted.i had to go through 4 rounds and they focused mainly on DSA,OS,Java,Multithreading and my resume related stuff.After 1 month again 3 round so total of 8 rounds including written test.it was a good interview experience for me and interviewers were very nice to me.Vmware is really a great company.

what was the most difficult part you had to face in your student life and how did you tackled it?
It was a frontend interview on hackerrank platform. There was three screens for html, css and JavaScript, asked to create a navigation component. HR informed me that it was going to be a data structures round with no language restriction. But in interview I found out it was a core skills round instead.
