Colloquio
I started the interview process at the beginning of September and it was dragged out until end of November. I met with 8 people in total (which feels like a lot of this level role). Everyone I met with was really nice, super engaging, and I felt like I had a really good shot at getting an offer. After my last interview wrapped up, I was told I would hear within the next week. The week comes and goes and I didn't hear anything. I let another week go by and decided to follow up with the in house recruiter I had been working with. I get an automatic message that she is no longer with the company. I than contacted the people within her reply and still did not get an answer. When I followed up the second time, I decided to add the last person I interviewed with. Finally I got an answer, I was not getting the role (which I assumed), I just wanted an answer. I find it so disrespectful that you would talk to a candidate for almost 3 months and not have the respect to notify them of the final out come. Afterwards, the VP reached out and said that they still feel I could be a fit for something at the company and I politely declined. If this is how they run their recruitment and treat their candidates, I can only imagine what the company culture is like.

Tell me about a time you implemented a marketing activity that performed really well and how did it impact the future strategy.

Two phone rounds plus a re-interview in person that included two additional rounds of people. The recruiter was horrible. Constantly had to reach out for followups, wasn't even in the office when I interviewed during a snow storm (but I was still expected to be there), and then had to ask for feedback after a week only to get an automated rejection notice. Then had to repeatedly ask for feedback for another week to actually learn that they had just hired someone internally despite requiring me to come in person across country at my own expense and never mentioning that they were looking to fill this role internally. Don't waste your time. If you don't have experience in the role and you work in the company you'll get the job. If you have a wealth of experience and come from outside the company you won't.
Thorough in regard to meeting with different people and teams you will be working with. You are introduced to different groups and get a different angle of the company from many perspectives, including your team. The decision was made by a committee in this situation.
