Company completely wasted my time. Had me do a 30 question questionnaire, then a 10 question technical challenge, then a technical interview, then an interview with CTO, then decided that I wasn't a fit for the role. If it takes you that long to decide that someone's not a fit for the role, perhaps your interview process needs work. You seem like decent people, just please be more respectful of the time of your candidates. Also the pay range is a joke for a data engineer. Another one of these startup companies that interviews like they're Google. Stay away from this company.

Garbage process. Applied on LinkedIn. I got 2 emails asking to write elaborate paragraphs on why I chose to Apply. Next they gave me 2 10-page assignments asking me such extensive details on each of my projects, my knowledge with each technology, my approach to random made up problems. Next they sent a 10 page coding assignment which I completed. All of this to be ghosted without any feedback or even a generic rejection email. Ohh and that job has been posted thrice since then

I applied online and a recruiter reached out. Definitely not worth your time. Their hiring process is more involved than any FAANG for less pay. It's roughly 18 hours in total with only around 4 of them being paid for a take-home project. The CTO will send you an email about how you're "one of the lucky 10% of candidates to be considered" which should be a red flag to begin with. If you can't evaluate a candidate in 2-3 hours of interviews then you're doing something wrong.
