Had a phone interview that lasted 35 minutes. Why do you want to work at Vanguard? What's something currently in financial news that interests you? Name a time you couldn't provide excellent customer service and what did you do? Name a time when you had to think outside of the box. All behavioral questions, they were more difficult than other interviews I had. The interviewer told me she'd forward my info to the hiring manager and I'd hear back about an in person interview next week. I interviewed today, on a Friday. Salary range mid $30k range.

The interview was a two step process, the phone screen was about 15 mins and they were mainly looking for clarity of your voice and if you are articulate. The virtual 1-on-1 interview was fairly easy, about 6 STAR-based questions regarding customer service, communication skills, and learning agility.
