Colloquio
There is a phone interview to determine if you would be a good fit in the Vanguard culture. This is usually a 15 min conversation. Next if they decide you will move to a face-to-face interview and if that interview goes well they will move you to a 2nd or 3rd round depending on the number candidates and number of openings. The face-to-face questions are pretty standard. They start with getting to know you and your 3 strengths and weaknesses(opportunity areas) then on to competency based questions, referred to as S.T.A.R. format (Situation Task Action Result). They heavily base their final decision on how well you answer the S.T.A.R. questions. I am not posting the questions but the competencies that they are seeking with the questions, you will need to determine which competency fits with the question asked.
