A recruiter reached out to me via email to start the interview process. I expected an in-depth email, but the background check was more thorough than the actual interview. There was a bit of a waiting period (est. 3 weeks from the initial interview). Once selected, I deployed immediately and had about 12 hours to make arrangement to catch my flight to training.
