The company has a mandatory 5 interview process that they'll keep you on the hook for over multiple months. I made it through 3 and all of them were borderline identical just with different people that all have similar positions. They took hours of my time just to tell me they went with another candidate before the interview process even seemed to start in earnest. I'm not sure if they wanted me to answer the same open ended question identically every time or wanted me to have a different but equally satisfying answer every time they repeated it. It doesn't take 3 personality type interviews to detect if someone is a fit or not and it certainly appears they are trying to use quantity to feign the appearance of quality in their hiring process. They also completely dance around the talk of compensation and I could not get it out of them over 3 interviews and still don't have the slightest idea what it was supposed to be but they made sure to ask what my expected compensation was THREE times without a hint of what their own was. I have no idea what was supposed to be accomplished in this process.
