The first step was a phone screen with HR. The call was scheduled for 10 minutes. It felt extremely rushed and impersonal. I was able to quickly market myself enough to get a 2nd interview. The 2nd Interview was with the hiring manager. Again, this was another rushed video call. The energy was frenetic but engaging. They seemed to be looking for something specific in my background as the questions were targeted. The manager was a respectful in communication about what they were looking for. Unfortunately, the overall candidate experience was rushed and impersonal. I understand that managers are busy, but If a candidate spends hours prepping for an interview only to have the hiring manager rush through the call, it's off-putting and for that reason alone. I don't wat to work here.
