I had an interview with this company that lasted 45 minutes, only to end abruptly with the feedback that this role requires very technical and deep knowledge. It felt disrespectful to conclude the conversation this way after taking up my time.
Why do HR professionals conduct initial screenings if not to assess whether a candidate's experience aligns with the role? I had already informed HR that I didn’t have direct experience with performance position, but they still proceeded with the interview and gave me hope. The job description mentioned 1-2 years of experience, so I applied in good faith.
Overall, this was an unprofessional and disrespectful experience, wasting my time and leaving a negative impression.
