Nice assessment, it was game based to test problem solving abilities rather than technical competencies. Game was not too hard but I guess that means everyone did well. Overall average concept.

Wow! Where do I even begin. This interview process has unfortunately been engraved into my brain forever due to how disconnected it was from reality. The first thing they make you do post application is a personality test designed to confine you into whatever metric they determine is 'best'. Need I say more? But I'm desperate for a job and so I obviously do it and succeed. Next comes the screening. This is the part that quite literally won't stop haunting me. It's a call with one of the Vice Presidents. He's frantically tying to get his notes up and asks me to 'describe' myself. If you're a graduate you know exactly how to answer this question. Give your background education, any relevant experience preceding it and then wrap it up with 'I want to join [] because it's the intersection between all my experiences and I like [] about the company". We have answered these questions time and time again. The Vice President accuses me of 'reading' from a script. I vehemently deny this. It's honestly such a rude thing to accuse someone of and I felt embarrassed and humiliated. I'm smart and highly educated. I have degrees from some of the best universities in the world. This is not something that I would do. I did have prompts in a word document to keep me on track but that is normal? I wish I had asked to end the call right there because that is not how you conduct an interview. Nonetheless, he tells me that these interviews are supposed to be conversational and that reading takes away from it. He then continues to describe the job and what they're looking for. Preceding this, he blatantly reads off his screen a list of behavioural questions that he expects me to answer. The irony. What's quite unfortunate is the fact that all the non scripted elements of the interview were incredibly informative and I genuinely gained such good insights on what it's like to work in consulting. I'm glad I got rejected and I would not want to work for this company considering the gaslighting that occurred during the interview. My advice to Veeva would be that if they really value conversations then stop with whatever this process is. You need reform in a way that humanises your candidates. They are not disposable.

Initial screening with recruiter then a case study where you have to use their platform to come up with a solution for a 'client'. The lady taking the interview was quite rude and was looking at her phone and eating while I was presenting my solution.
